Crystal Roy was born in Sudbury, Ontario in 1984 and she now lives and works in Newmarket, Ontario.

From a young age Crystal spent many years exploring, experiencing and experimenting with different techniques and styles in her artwork. After high school she moved to Toronto to study at OCAD University and graduated with her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Inspired by artists from the Dada and Surrealist period, Crystal has learned that things may not always be as they seem. Currently she is working with multiple mediums, she has always been driven to create and pursue her passions.  Over the years she has fallen in love with the world around her and uses it as inspiration for her latest series.

In April of 2022 Crystal graduated from Georgian College from their Honors Bachelor of Interior Design program with Honors. Currently she is working in the Georgian Bay area as a Junior Designer and working to achieve her professional designation. Using the knowledge she gave from over 10 years in the art world to her work as a designer, she is creating spaces that are relaxed and reflect her clients needs and personalities.
