Selection of images from the Toronto International Design Center

Toronto International Design Center

August 26, 2019

It was so exciting to visit the design center!

To experience all the resources, they have available for designers and students is amazing. I really liked that they had a room available for designers to rent out and bring they’re clients. This room could be used to have meetings to discuss finishes and design options with clients. It was great to learn that this space could also be used by students to help them complete projects.

In a design world that is opening up for clients to source their own materials this is a great resource that caters to designers. Each retailers has their own customization’s for clients and designers. For example a lot of the shops had tables for designers to spread out and compare options with their clients.

It’s a great place to get inspired by what is being created by product designers and what kind of space of environments can be created for clients!

(I was more then a little excited about ALL the gorgeous lighting)
